A-3 is a high performance, high temperature moisture resistant, primer, coating and adhesion promoter used with metals, glass & ceramics, elastomers and polymers. A-3 offers a wide range of capabilities for promoting moisture resistance chemical bonding between minerals and polymers, as well as dissimilar polymers. It is commonly used as a primer coat for other BONDiT adhesives and potting compounds. A-3 is suitable for bond-promotion with semiconductor material and is especially suitable for military applications such as submarines and cable-connectors for cathodic environments. Because of A-3’s extremely high chemical and moisture resistance as well as its affinity for metals and minerals it is ideal for use in sub-marine adhesion promotion and coating applications. Compatible for use with BONDiT B-4X epoxy series. Ambient cure 60 minutes or accelerated thermal cure. Water white to slight amber.
